English 7:  Students worked on AR360 choosing two articles to read, quiz, and summarize.  The remainder of class was spent on the AzMerit Writing prep packet - pre-write & rough draft.   Homework:  AzMerit prep (pre-write & rough draft)  - read AR
English 8:  Students had a guest speaker (the substitute) who gave a presentation on Auschwitz, a former WWII concentration camp in Poland.  If time remained in class, students worked on the AzMerit Writing prep packet - pre-write & rough draft. Homework: research packet signed & topic chosen - AzMerit prep (pre-write & rough draft) - read AR

3/15/18 8th Grade Parent Information Meeting Tonight 6-7PM

All Classes:  Students created a pre-write (FLEE Map) for their essay and worked on the rough draft.  The rough draft is due tomorrow, so we can write the final copy in class.  Homework:  FLEE Map & rough draft (from AzMerit prep packet) - read AR
