English 7: After DOL/Journal, completed the bubble maps (Lemon Brown on one side - Greg Ridley on the other) with text evidence.  Homework:  Greg Ridley bubble map if not completed in class -  read AR

English 8: After DOL/Journal, students worked on 'word choice changes' and the final copy of their bibliography. This is due tomorrow.   Homework: final Edgar Allan Poe biography - read AR

English 7: After DOL/Journal, students created a bubble map describing the character Lemon Brown.  Each adjective identified on the bubble map needs text evidence from the story.  Homework:  Lemon Brown bubble map -  read AR

English 8: Students worked on peer editing rough drafts.  If this was completed, they started identifying 5 word choice changes within the rough draft (words to upgrade).  We will work on the final draft (biography) in class tomorrow, and it will be due Friday.   Homework:  - read AR

English 7: After DOL/Journal, students continued annotating "The Treasure of Lemon Brown."  It is due tomorrow completed.   Homework:  Annotate entire Lemon Brown passage (handout)- read AR

English 8: After DOL/journal, students worked on the rough draft of their biography of Edgar Allan Poe.  The rough draft is due tomorrow for peer editing.   Homework: rough draft - read AR

English 7: After DOL/Journal, students started the 2nd read & annotation of "The Treasure of Lemon Brown" - they were given a handout of the passage to annotate.  Assigned was completing full annotations for pg. 1-5 of the handout.  We'll complete it tomorrow.   Homework:  Annotate pg. 1-5- read AR

English 8: After DOL/journal, we discussed the pre-write activity for the biography of Edgar Allan Poe.  The pre-write is due tomorrow so we can start work on the rough draft.   Homework: pre-write for biography- read AR
