English 8: Students practiced identifying and writing appositives. For the remainder of the class they read Anne Frank in groups and created quotes for the character wall using evidence from the text. Homework: A+ Adaptive Vocabulary - read AR
Geography 7: Students read pg. 468-476 within groups, worked on a culture chart, and were assigned Guided Reading 17-2 (due tomorrow). Homework: GR 17-2 & chart if not completed in class - current event due Friday - read AR
English 7: Students were given a DOL quiz, and then read Gathering Blue within cooperative reading groups. They will have a quiz over Ch. 4-9 tomorrow (this includes spelling/vocabulary words from list 2). Homework: Final business letter due tomorrow - read Gathering Blue to pg. 99 & study for quiz - read AR
