English 8:  After DOL/Journal, students worked on 10 word choice changes.  Students were given a demonstration on using the "reference" tool within Microsoft Word to create a bibliography (Works Cited/Reference) using MLA format.  They were given some time to work on the final draft in class, but will be given more time tomorrow.  The final bibliography draft will be due at the end of class tomorrow.    *Homework: work on final - read AR
Teen Leadership:  After journal, we discussed self-concept vs. image further.  Assigned was a poster/collage to show self-concept (how you view yourself) and  image (how you would like to be viewed by others or how you believe you are viewed differently than your self-concept). Students were given the option of a poster/collage or digital media presentation (PowerPoint or Glogster).  This will be due Friday.  *Homework:   start collage/poster -read AR
English 7:  After DOL/Journal, students worked on the final draft of their Response to Literature essay.  If not completed in class, it is homework (due tomorrow at the beginning of class).  *homework: final draft -due tomorrow - read AR
