English 8:  After journal, students worked with partners on a Thanksgiving informational text passage.  Students were also given time to work on the final draft of their personal essay. Teen Leadership: Students learned about being responsible for their attitudes as well as "thought replacement."  Assigned was filling out a 3x5 card with a "negative thought" and then writing a reframed "positive thought" as a thought replacement.    *homework:  -  thought replacement card - read AR
English 7: After DOL/Journal, students finished the "extended response" essay portion of the Rikki Tikki Tavi test and then worked on A+.  Two lessons in A+ will be due tomorrow at the end of class.    *homework: 2 lessons on A+ - read AR

English 7: After DOL/Journal, students added to  the "theme" section of their tree map in small groups.  After a class discussion on theme, students created a circle map detailing text evidence that supports their theme across the story (through many characters).  This is due tomorrow.  *homework: circle map (theme) - read AR
