English 7: After DOL/Journal, students created a bubble map describing the character Lemon Brown.  Each adjective identified on the bubble map needs text evidence from the story.  Homework:  Lemon Brown bubble map -  read AR

English 8: Students worked on peer editing rough drafts.  If this was completed, they started identifying 5 word choice changes within the rough draft (words to upgrade).  We will work on the final draft (biography) in class tomorrow, and it will be due Friday.   Homework:  - read AR

English 8: After DOL/journal, we finished reviewing story elements.  During the last few minutes of class, we reviewed by playing kahoot (an online quiz game) through the computers - great fun!  There will be a story elements quiz tomorrow, so students should study their notes.    Homework: study for the story elements quiz- read AR
