English 7:  After Journal, students were given a demonstration on using Microsoft Word, how to save documents to the Digital Locker, and how to Drop It To Me (send documents directly to my computer via Internet).  We completed peer editing rough drafts and will work on the final tomorrow.  Homework:  5 word choice changes on rough draft - read AR
English 8A: After DOL/Journal, students finalized the vocab. & adj./adv. worksheet (due today).  We reviewed Flowers for Algernon using Kahoot.com.  There will be a test tomorrow.   Homework: study for Flowers for Algernon test - read AR *write "I LOVE TESTS" on the written portion of the test tomorrow for extra credit!

English 7:  Students took the test on "Rikki Tikki Tavi," as well as a small AR quiz on the story.  All students were given an extended response (short essay - 2-3 paragraphs) for extra credit on the test.  If it was not completed in class, the short essay is due no later than Monday.  Homework:  missing/absent work - read AR
English 8: Students continued reading Flowers for Algernon in small groups.  The summary/predict sheets created this week were turned in for credit.  Students also continued working on the Flubble Map and completed a 2nd Bubble Map (changes in Charlie since the operation).   Homework: text evidence for the bubble map created in class today (Charlie Gordon) - missing/absent work - read AR
