English 8: After discussing the Galileo test tomorrow, we read the entire class journal from beginning to end.  Students started writing an ending and may continue tomorrow (after Galileo if time) and Wed. Teen Leadership:  Students started writing personal mission statements (due Friday), and were assigned a speech for tomorrow (A principle I want to live by and why - or - My mission statement and what it means to me).    *homework:  speech prep - read AR
English 7B:   Students read a timeline in the Holocaust magazine and answered questions #1-6 on pg. 13.   For the remainder of class,  students read in cooperative reading groups.  Students reading the Giver prepared for their final tomorrow.  Students reading Gathering Blue finished the book to prepare for their final (some students need to take it home and complete it).   *homework:  spelling definitions - study book & vocab for novel final - read AR
