English 7A:  Most of the class period was spent completing the pre-test on A+ (a program that identifies gaps in learning and assigns lessons accordingly).  About half of the class needed to go to a computer lab to finish Galileo testing, so we did not have a normal class period.  Homework:  Signed ParentVUE sheets (they are now late) - read AR

English 7:  We spent most of the class period exploring the online grade book, StudentVUE, through the student login.  We also explored Mrs. Nash's Blog:  mrsnashblog.blogspot.com
Students were also given a paper to take home with the parent login information/instructions for ParentVUE.  This paper is due signed by a parent on Monday with a note stating the process was successful or unsuccessful (and perhaps needs help).  Homework:  read AR - give parents their ParentVUE login information and bring form back signed

English 7A: We finished our discussion of the student handbook, so students should be getting the handbook signature page signed & returned to class this week (for a participation grade).  Each student was checked for having the correct "required" materials for class (also a participation grade).  Homework:  read AR
