Geography 7: We worked on Guided Reading 17-2 and A+ in class.  The Guided Reading was collected, so it is not homework.  Homework:  A+ (5 lessons due Friday) -   read AR


English 7:  We read Gathering Blue in groups (many students finished the book - if not, it is homework).  Assigned was an independent Summary/Predict/QAR sheet, which is due tomorrow. The final test on the book will be tomorrow - study the spelling words from the book.   Homework:   FINISH GATHERING BLUE (final tomorrow with vocabulary) - Independent Summary/Predict - read AR

English 8:   Anne Frank Final - study guides were collected.  Students who are not yet at 100% for AR took a quiz on the class novel as well.

Geography 7: Students read Ch. 17 Section 2 & worked on a chart within groups (culture chart).  If not done in class this is homework.  Homework:  Finish chart & reading if not completed in class - A+ (5 lessons due Friday) -   read AR


English 7: Students completed and read response journals.  After class discussion, students read Gathering Blue within cooperative reading groups.  The Gathering Blue Final will be Friday.   Homework:   Read Gathering Blue through pg. 200 - read AR

English 8:   Students worked on their study packet for Anne Frank in a pair/share activity with others.  We also worked on an additional final test guide in small groups.  Students should have completed both of these study aids and finished the book.  The final will be tomorrow.

Geography 7: We corrected pg. 465 and students completed Ch. 17 Section 1 quiz.  There was a bit of time after the quiz for A+ work.  Homework:  (5 lessons due Friday) -   read AR


English 7: Students completed journal & the literature terms sheet.  After class discussion, students read Gathering Blue within cooperative reading groups.    Homework:   Read Gathering Blue through pg. 186 - read AR

English 8:   Students worked on reading groups to complete Anne Frank and the study guide packet.  This is due in completion by tomorrow for some pair-share activities.  Final Anne Frank test will be Wednesday.  No vocabulary this week.

Geography 7: We corrected Guided Reading 17-1.  Assigned was pg. 456 #1-6.  Students had already completed #1 and #6 in class last week, so there was not a lot to finish with this assignment.  If not completed in class it is homework (due tomorrow). English 7: Students finished affirmations, worked on journal, and then read Gathering Blue in reading groups.  In groups, students completed a literary terms sheet to identify what is changing within the story  (plot, theme, setting, characters, conflict, etc..).  No spelling this week.  Homework:   Read Gathering Blue - read AR
