All Classes:  Students completed the STAR Reading test.  After the test, students worked on DOL/Journal.  A few classes had time to work on the new AR 360 program (informational text articles on the Renaissance program).  homework: read AR  - LAST DAY TO TEST AR IS TOMORROW

All Classes:  After DOL/Journal, students were given time to check grades online.  We read journals about Winter Break, and discussed schedules/plan for the last week of the semester.  Homework:  read AR - last day to quiz is Wednesday, January 7th

All English 8:  Final Monster Exchange instructions were due for the exchange tomorrow.  The school counselor visited to discuss high school/college plans.  We visited career exploration websites and filled out pre-ECAP plans.    *homework:  preECAP if not completed in class - read AR

All English 8:  We discussed EXPLORE test results in class today.  Students will complete a pre-ECAP in class tomorrow, as well as do some career exploration online.  The school counselor will visit tomorrow to discuss high school/college plans.  After EXPLORE results, students completed peer editing on the monster instructions.  The final instructions are due tomorrow.  *homework:  Final Monster Instructions - read AR
