All English 8:  Students continued presenting their research projects in front of the class.  They read in cooperative reading groups.  Assigned is Anne Frank to pg. 180 & study guide.  No vocabulary program this week.  *homework:  read Anne Frank go pg. 180- study guide - read AR
English 7B:  After DOL/Journal, students took the class Novel Quiz 3.  No spelling program this week.  *homework: read AR
English 7A:  After DOL/Journal, students worked in cooperative reading groups to complete their novel or work on the character project.  Students reading The Giver will have a final test tomorrow.  Please study the book as well as the spelling lists associated with the novel.  *homework: study for final - read AR

English 8A:  Students presented research reports for the first half of class, and then read Anne Frank & worked on study guides for the remainder.  We will continue with the same tomorrow.  *homework: read Anne Frank to pg. 165 & work on study guide
English 8B:  After DOL/Journal, students worked on an informational reading passage within small groups.  They were expected to CLOSE read and annotate within the groups.  For the remainder of class, students read Anne Frank & worked on study guides.  We will continue with research report presentations tomorrow.  *homework: read Anne Frank to pg. 165 & work on study guide - read AR
English 7B:  After DOL/Journal, students read their class novel within cooperative reading groups.  There will be a quiz tomorrow for both Gathering Blue (through pg. 154) and The Giver (through pg. 145).  Study spelling words from list 3 (handed back today).  *homework: re-read class novel & study spelling word definitions - read AR
English 7A:  After DOL/Journal, Gathering Blue students took their novel final.  The Giver students took a quiz (through pg. 145).  *homework:  read AR- Gathering Blue can work on their project (due date not yet set)
