English 8: Students were assigned Anne Frank Section 2 vocabulary words today. After DOL/Journal, students explored the PARCC sample items for the upcoming field test Wednesday. Geography 7: Study Guide & Student Teach- Students worked on a study guide for Ch. 3 in groups. Each group completed a "part" of the study guide, and then taught their answers to the rest of the class. The class left with an almost completed study guide, and need to finish what was not done in class. Homework: Study for Ch. 3 TEST - read AR
English 7: Students were given a spelling list associated with the class novel we will be reading (Gathering Blue), and were assigned synonyms and antonyms for Monday's work. Students worked with partners to read a short passage, summarize, predict, and write QAR questions.
