5/13/16 Friday the 13th!

English 8: Students were given some time to work in their groups and complete Section 4 study guide.  We discussed them in class before continuing part of the Anne Frank movie.    *homework: -  read AR
Teen Leadership:    We completed Lesson 30 learning about 'attitude' and 'replacement thoughts' in addition to the concept of 'Relational-Emotive Theory.'     *homework:  - read AR
English 7:   Students were given the class period to work in groups and complete their character presentations.  We will start presenting on Monday.  *homework:  character presentation (present Monday) - read AR

English 8: After a DOL quiz, students took the school student survey (located on TigerLinks).  The remainder of the class was spent reading Anne Frank and completing the Section 4 Study Guide.   No vocabulary this week, as I will expect students to be working on the study guide.   *homework:  study guide Section 4 (due Friday) - reading Anne Frank (pg. 193 by Friday) -  read AR
