English 8:
Students completed DOL/Journal, and were assigned "A+ Adaptive Vocabulary" for vocabulary work this week. Students need to complete at least 4 lessons by Friday. We continued reading Anne Frank in cooperative reading groups. There will be a quiz through pg. 74 Wed. Homework: A+ Adaptive Vocabulary & read Anne Frank - read AR
Geography 7: We continued Ch. 17. Students were assigned pg. 465 # 1, 2, 4-7. There will be a quiz on Ch. 17 Section 1 tomorrow. Homework: pg. 465 if not completed in class, current event due Friday, study for QUIZ - read AR
English 7: We continued reading our narrative letters. Students were given their business letter rough drafts, and were assigned 5 word choice changes. The final copy is due Friday (no spelling work this week). Students were also given a parent signature sheet for the class journal. This is assessing how many students are purchasing a hard copy and how many will be downloading online. Homework: 5 word choice changes on rough draft (final due Friday) - read AR
