English 8: Students took a DOL Quiz. We then corrected the vocabulary packet and started to discuss unfamiliar words, but class was cut short by the Teen Dating Violence Program. Homework: vocabulary (all due Friday) - read AR
Geography 7: Students worked on pg. 38 in class (due Wed.) They were assigned a neighborhood map which will contain all the parts of a map (title, scale, legend/key, labels/symbols, compass rose) - this will be due Thursday.. Homework: Study for QUIZ tomorrow - current event due Friday - read AR
English 7: Students took a DOL Quiz. We started a pre-write activity for a narrative essay. Students were asked to create a character, and were given a fun packet with drawings to help create this character. The picture is due tomorrow.
