AIMS Prep
English 8: Students learned to identify and write simile & metaphor. We read Anne Frank for the remainder of the class within cooperative reading groups. NO VOCABULARY THIS WEEK Homework: find a poem to bring by Wednesday - read AR
Geography 7: Students are writing an expository essay in response to the video on oil. They are writing in the same capacity as an actual AIMS test to gain further experience with this mode of writing. We will work further on it tomorrow in class. Current Events were also assigned and due Friday. Homework: current event due Friday - read AR
English 7: Students learned to identify and write similes. We continued practice with business letter format within DOL. We are preparing for AIMS by learning poetry elements and terminology- this will continue through tomorrow. NO SPELLING THIS WEEK Homework: read AR
