English 7: Students worked on the class journal ending. We discussed Spelling List 11 words. For the remainder of class, students finished The Giver in reading groups and were able to take an AR quiz on the book. Homework: spelling 5 X each - read AR
English 8: Students were given some time to write a journal entry and work on vocabulary. We corrected the vocabulary packet and discussed unfamiliar words. Students read Anne Frank for the remainder of the class. Groups will be required to read approximately 20 pages per day. What does not get done in class will go home as homework. Homework: Vocabulary categories - READ ANNE FRANK -read AR
