2/12/19 Terrific Tuesday

7C Honors English:  After DOL/journal, students created a double-bubble to compare & contrast the structure of two poems.   Homework: double-bubble  - vocab. categories- Read AR
English 8: After DOL/journal, students worked on poetry and vocabulary.  8B: Work time - substitute for part of class.  8A: After checking for sonnet completion, students were given a demonstration on using Microsoft Publisher to finalize one of the poems created.   Homework: vocab. categories -  Read AR - finish any of the 5 written poems not yet completed
English 7:  After DOL/Journal, students learned about poetry structures: line, stanza, rhyme scheme, etc.. Assigned was reading the poem "Jabberwocky" and answering question #1.    Homework:  spelling 5X each - Read AR
